Where is the hotel?
The Abbazia Club Hotel Marotta is located in Italy, Marche region, on the shore of the Adriatic Sea. You only have to drive 60 km south of Rimini. GPS coordinates are: Latitude: E 43.768235, Longitude: N 13.144487.

How can I get there?
If you arriving from the northern part of Italy, the route E45/A14 (leading toward Bologna - Cesena - Marotta) is a good choice. If you arrive to Rome, take the A24 / E80 motorway out of Rome. At Torano follow the A24 toward L’Aquila, and Teramo. Leave the A24 near Mulinetto, and take the A14/E55 Drive straight to north on the motorway, Marotta will have its own exit.

Are there airports nearby?
The cities of Ancona and Rimini both have airports. Low-Budget airlines are scheduling flights to these destinations, and / or Venice / Bologna.

Can I go by public transport, or ferry?
Marotta di Mondolfo has its own bus and train-station, about 350 yards away from the hotel. National bus and railway lines are regularly stop in the city. Ferry harbor is at your disposal in the neighboring city of Ancona.

What about the route through Slovenia?
The city can be accessed from the Maribor - Ljubljana - Triest - Venice motorway as well. Motorway vignette is available for 7, 14, 30, or 180 days.

Are there also apartments, like in your other hotels in Hungary?
No, unlike the other Abbazia hotels, Abbázia Club Hotel Marotta does not have apartments, it has standard, double rooms. Each room has built-in (and free) AC, and its standard matches with the 3 star hotel rating level.

Is the beach near? What covers its shore?
Yes, the beach lies at the front of the hotel. You only have to cross a small road to reach directly the Lido di Marotta, the beach of the city. The seashore in Marotta is covered by small stones.

Where can I park? Is there any fee for parking? What other fees are in your hotel?
The hotel does not have its own parking place, but in the streets in front of, and by the hotel you may find plenty of free place. Parking is completely free, and public security is also excellent in the city.
Room prices usually include every cost; extra fees, such as cleaning fee on departure, city tax, or any other "hidden" cost do not occur. The only extra fee is for the rooms with full-view to the sea, the so called "fronte-mare rooms". This fee is utilized only for the double rooms, and should be paid only by checking-out.

What is the time of checking in, and out?
Check in time is 4 PM. However, on days - except for Saturdays - the room is likely to be ready for your arrival at 2 PM already. Check out time is 10 AM. You can check in and out on all days from 7 AM to 10 PM.

What about the beach service? Do I have to pay for swimming in the sea?
As for all the beaches on the Adriatic sea, swimming and bathing in the sea is free. However, if you want to rest, or sunbath on the beach thereafter, you have to pay for using the sun-beds and beach umbrellas. It is usually not allowed to simply lay down your towel, and rest on it.
In return, you can join the sun on neat, well catered beaches. You can also use the sun-beds and beach umbrellas from the 1st of June to the 31st of August by paying the entrance fee.
About half mile away from the hotel there are also public beaches, however, they are not so well kept, as for the non-free ones.

Breakfast, Half board, and Full board: what do they mean at your hotel?
Breakfast catering means rich buffet breakfast. Half-board means breakfast and menu-choice dinner, whereas full board adds a menu-choice lunch for your catering as well. Usually we offer two menus on each day, for every meal, and they often contain local specialties as well.

Is there a la carte possibility?
Yes, you can choose from our menu to eat a la carte in our gourmet restaurant too.

What is the difference between full view (fronte mare) and standard room?
The so called "fronte-mare" rooms are double rooms, located on the eastern side of our resort; they give you a magnificent, full view to the sea. The other double rooms are on the southern and northern part of the hotel, so the also bear a nice view to the sea, as well as for the neighboring area. Check out the 16th picture in our gallery to have a look out of our standard, non "fronte-mare" room.

Do you have balcony for all of your rooms?
Yes, all of our rooms have a small balcony. The only exception is the triple room in the northern side of the hotel.
